Online Giving
Childrenís Day School accepts one-time and recurring online gifts via Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Itís quick, easy and secure. Just click on the button to the left to make your donation through www.JustGive.org. Please indicate in the field marked "Designate My Donation" whether you would like your gift to be applied to the Annual Fund or the 601 Dolores campaign. For our use of this service, CDS pays a fee of 4.5% of each donation. Your donation will appear on your credit card statement as a charge to "JustGive."
Cash
Gifts of cash made by check payable to Children's Day School are available to the school for immediate use and are tax-deductible for the donor to the fullest extent allowed by law. Our tax ID number is 94-3248631.
Appreciated Stocks & Securities
Giving appreciated securities - stocks, bonds and mutual funds - benefits donors and CDS. Donors get a charitable deduction, in most cases, for the full fair market value of the security and don't have to pay capital gains tax on the transfer of securities that have been held for at least a year. Transferring securities directly to CDS is simple; contact Marion Quinones, Director of Development, at 415-861-5432 x323, for detailed instructions.
Matching Gifts
Companies will often match gifts to CDS. If your employer offers a matching program, your donation can be greatly increased.
