Welcome to CDS Bulldog Athletics!

CDS Bulldog Athletics is an after-school sports program that offers four sports over three seasons during the academic year. Students can participate in cross-country or volleyball in the fall, basketball in the winter, and futsal in the spring. CDS is part of the San Francisco Athletic League (SFAL). Other participating schools include Live Oak, Burke’s, SF Friends School, SF School, Kittredge, Synergy, CAIS, Presidio Hill School, and KIPP Academy.

All sixth through eighth grade students are welcome to participate in the CDS After School Athletics Program. Fifth graders are welcome to participate in the fall cross-country season. There are no cuts for CDS Athletics. Students can only sign up for one sport/team per season.

Sixth and seventh-grade students may participate at the junior varsity or varsity levels for all sports, while eighth-grade students may only participate at the varsity level. Officials/referees are always requested for league games.

In addition to league commitments, like-minded schools are contacted to arrange exhibition games or scrimmages if time and facilities allow. Junior varsity and varsity teams practice and/or play games 2-3 days per week.
All sixth through eighth grade students are welcome to participate in the CDS After School Sports Program.
